ISO 9001

Why is it so important?

  • It helps making sure that our company has a partner that has been deemed by an official certifier as trustworthy and compliant to many criteria, such as its mode of operation: from planning, through supplier monitoring, distribution and results control, to the production of goods and services.
  • It helps increasing customer satisfaction. Quality management systems aim at identifying and satisfying the clients’ demands and needs.
  • It helps achieving integrated processes. This system doesn’t only take into account the individual processes carried out within the company, but also the relationships between said processes.
  • It helps deciding on the basis of facts and improving organizational efficiency and efficacy.

UNI ISO 9001 is the quality management system standard for companies. It identifies the requirements a company should meet in order to prove its ability to regularly provide products or services that can increasingly satisfy the customers’ needs, while improving the system itself.

The UNI ISO 14001 certification identifies the Environmental Management System requirements. This certification is reviewed on a yearly basis and has to be renewed every three years. In order to obtain it, a company needs to have an Environmental Management System, to understand the internal and external context of the organization, to carefully analyze needs and expectations of shareholders and to identify and assess the risks connected to the company’s system.

ISO 14001

Why is it so important?

  • It is a tool granted by official and neutral bodies that shows a company’s care and sensitivity towards environmental issues.
  • It improves the company’s cost containment and helps considerably reducing waste thanks to environmental indicators.
  • It improves the relationship and communication with authorities.

ISO 45001

Why is it so important?

  • Because it promotes safety within the company and stresses how important it is to protect employees, goods and facilities.
  • Because it helps the company to continuously assess its legislative compliance.
  • Because it helps the company to constantly strive to improve.

ISO 45001 is the standard for the Health and Safety at Work Management System and it is the first certification defining international standards whose aim is to protect workers. This safety certification takes into account the risk for the health and safety at work, as well as the risk for the system; as a matter of fact, it also deals with supplying and outsourcing issues, their control and their compliance to law and safety requirements.
